At the inaugural session of the new Assembly of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS), Ivan Bošnjak, co-founder and Deputy General Manager of Millennium Team, was elected Vice President of PKS. His appointment stands as both a recognition of his personal engagement and Millennium Team’s contribution to the development of the Serbian economy, while also creating space for stronger advocacy of economic growth, greater domestic investment, and enhanced cooperation among companies.
Millennium Team has already been actively engaged in the work of the Chamber, and the election of Ivan Bošnjak will further strengthen this collaboration.
– The construction industry is one of the fastest-growing sectors of our economy, and it is important that it has as many representatives as possible in the Serbian Chamber of Commerce. Through this organization we can better highlight not only potential challenges, but also business opportunities ahead. At the same time, the construction industry generates a significant share of GDP, with the value of construction works increasing by 8.6 percent in 2024. For all these reasons, it is vital that issues crucial to our sector receive even more attention from PKS – Bošnjak emphasized.
He further underlined that sustainable business practices have always been an imperative for Millennium Team – from continuously raising safety and occupational health standards, to waste management and building in line with ecological principles. He added that it is equally important for these standards to be consistently monitored and advanced through PKS activities.
The same session of the PKS Assembly major advancements in the field of digitalization were also presented – the introduction of nine new AI-based services designed to help companies make faster decisions, improve competitiveness, and accelerate digital transformation.
Alongside Ivan Bošnjak, Veselin Jevrosimović, founder and President of Comtrade Group , was also elected Vice President of PKS. The session was additionally marked by the adoption of key documents crucial for the smooth functioning and development of the Chamber.
