Vranjska Banja Resort is the largest project in the Balkans by Marriott International and the largest investment in tourism by Millennium Resorts. The construction of a prestigious hotel complex near Vranje is our contribution to successful Serbian-American economic cooperation.

This was said by Jovan Mladenović, a Millennium Resorts representative, while participating at the Conference on celebrating America’s Day in Serbia. In the Serbian National Assembly, he participated in a corporate panel dedicated to business, investments and strategic cooperation between Serbia and the USA.

Mladenović presented the project Vranjska Banja and emphasized that Marriott International is the largest American brand in the hotel industry.

“We are proud of the investments in Vranjska Banja and the cooperation with the Marriott franchise. The arrival of such brand guarantees not only top-quality service and development of local tourist offer, but it also positions Serbia as a destination on a much wider, even global scale,” said Mladenović.

He said that Millennium Resorts recognized the potential of Vranjska Banja and decided to invest in this part of Serbia. Hotel Westin 4*, Sofka Medical Center, Hotel Kralj Petar I by Autograph Collection 5*, spa apartments and bungalows will be built in several stages until 2026, and the value of the total investment will be around 90 million euros.

“Vranjska Banja will soon overshadow many well-known resorts and spas in Europe. Serbia will get a renowned spa-hotel-medical center that will make the best use of its available natural resources, and the local community and the entire south of Serbia will have a new and sustainable development opportunity,” said Mladenović at a panel attended by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy, Vladimir Arsenović, Mihailo Subotic from the company Street Gays Hospitality and Sally Myers, from the economic department of the US Embassy in Belgrade.

Millennium Resorts started investing in Vranjska Banja in 2019.
